Small Community Airlines is currently accepting resumes for positions of:
Maintenance Inspectors at our Dallas Love Field Base.

Requirements Include:

A. Current F.A.A. Airman’s Certificate including Airframe and Powerplant Ratings. An IA is optional but not required for this position

B. Must own complete set of hand tools to perform maintenance requirements.

C. Must pass D.O.T. drug test and 10 year background security check.

D. Willingness to travel as required on short notice.

E. Willingness to work assigned shifts whether it be days, nights, weekends or holidays as required.

F. Ability to lift 50 pounds

G. Ability to work in confined spaces for prolonged periods of time.

H. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Bi-lingual technicians as well as female technicians are encouraged to apply.

I. Willingness to advance your career with training, seminars and all associated schools.

J. Working knowledge of F.A.A. Regulations specifically parts 21, 33, 35, 39, 43, 65, 119, 121 and subparts J & L, 125, and 135.

K. Working knowledge of measuring tools and devices and equipment to facilitate completion of assigned RII Inspection tasks.

L. Computer literate in Microsoft word, excel used in forecasting, tracking of maintenance inspections and incoming parts inspections.

M. Five (5) years experience on turbo-prop or turbo-jet aircraft.

N. Three (3) years experience inspection duties concerning turbo-prop or turbo-jet aircraft with airworthiness release authority.

O. All other assigned duties as mandated by the Chief Inspector and or the Vice President of Maintenance.
